So many things happen recently .. I'm very busy and hardly scrap for the past week. but i manage to do one LO on breastfeeding :)
My second aunt came back to SG. finally after a few years .. Had a good talk and learn quite alot from her. And also discuss about childcare for Isaiah. Now he is coming 15 mths .. I start thinking about his school .. Very headache thing .. whole day keep thinking which is the best for him! Playgroup or half day childcare or i should put him to enrichment coursers like Kindermusik or Little Gym. Actually i'm fine with enrichment courses as i'm not really keen in educational base lessons for him now. He is still young i feel play is more important as he learnt alot through playing.
However Kindermusik and Little Gym require ME to sit with him through the lesson .. But i'm not keen !!! I feel weird about it and i wish to let him go on his own and make him more independent. So it doesn't make a difference if i sit through lessons with him..
I did take a look at My First Skool from NTUC just opp my block. A few mins walking distance..
Actually i set my mind on LittleSkoolHouse. however the price for half day is quite expensive to me. I find it kinda not worth it lar! Then i realise My first Skool from NTUC is also part of LittleSkoolHouse, but price is alot difference. Something which i can afford without putting me n hb more burden and Isaiah can enjoy himself there too.
The environment was not bad .. But i do not like the care takers and the way they handle kids ..
One thing that attract me is the walking distance .. haha ..
But after some discussion, we find that if we really wan Isaiah to be in childcare we should find a better one .. I don't want him to learn bad habits instead of positive stuff from school and i'm wondering if he is able to adapt to childcare out of the sudden .. But luckily i found a playgroup which is quite near my mom place. 2 hourly 5 days a week .. Seems okay to me cause is near my mom place so i don't need to loiter around to wait for him to finish his sch .. So my mind settled on EduFarm playschool but yet go down and see the environment. But cannot be too picky too cause there is not much schools ard my place .. So let see how things goes when he is about 16mths ..
Now isaiah at 14mths is running around the house .. time pass so fast .. seems like he taken his first step yesterday only! i don't know how did i survive through this active period .. But i know there is more to come .......
this baby is talking more recently .. Not only ball .. he is able to recognise cars too .. but his pronunciation is "dada" instead of car car.. Yesterday when i brought him to NTUC and shop for some grocery .. Suddenly he point to the banana and say "NANA!" I was amazed .. He actually learnt that through our conversation as he love bananas .. But he still refused to call mama .. He will only call me when he is crying and wants me to hug him .. Other than that he prefer to walk to me instead .. He call his dad "dardi" his grandma " mak " .. Grandpa "ah" LOL. He still learning to
pronounce "AH GONG" and he will look at my lips very seriously trying to learn the "gong" word .. Really funny to see him learning to talk .. Of course his mum mum and ball is the most accurate ones .. I don't think he will learn to say his own name so fast cause is hard to
pronounce for him ..
Anyway recently he has been playing with bowls and spoon during mealtime .. A few months back he love to play with it and learn to self feed with water but of course all the water will be dripping on his shirt .. Yesterday i make a bowl of brown rice paste and let him explore himself .. Admit that is messy but need to prepare myself for that before i let him try.
He manage to self feed himself! amazing yea .. but half way through he is still playing with his food .. Normally he will eat properly when he is eating his finger food like snacks, cheese, bread etc .. but i'm glad of his achievement using a spoon and not topple the whole thing on the table.
I must scrap today .. I'm super bored at home !!! hb on night shift again ....
