Well this week was rather interesting .. And also very tiring .. Now i barely remembers what did we do the past whole week!
On wednesday, brought Isaiah to bugis to meet my mom and walked over to little neuro tree to do the registration. Upon reaching there, isaiah start playing with the teachers .. After chatting with them i find that the are very patient and friendly .. And we will be having the first lesson on friday.
Walked back to bugis and have dinner .. shop a little and isaiah fell asleep in sling .. I went back home right after that as is very tiring to sling him all the way :(
Thursday is the court day .. Hubby came back abit late that day .. around 4.30pm .. End up we got to rush to my mom place and leave isaiah there and rush to court .. Chinatown is having abit of traffic jam and that time and we are counting down 6pm in the car .. Luckily we are able to reach 5 mins before the court starts .. Waited for hubby outside court for about 30 mins and finally he came out .. Luckily fine wasn't as much as what we expected .. Walked over to break through and take a look as i wanted to get some christian dvd for isaiah but in the end found none.
Head to Swensen at chinatown point and have dinner. Well it is the first dinner ALONE after sooo long .. Finally we ate in peace and not to nag at isaiah to sit down, quiet, wait etc .. haha ..
After dinner we pop by the small book fair in chinatown point and got alot of books for isaiah at 1 for $1!! i love those simple books rather than confusing ones ..
Went back to fetch darling and head back home ..
Friday is the exciting day .. Isaiah attended his first lesson at little neuro tree. Had a quick bite at Mac before going over .. Reached there earlier that day and isaiah enjoyed playing around and soon 3 teachers are chasing him around! I like the place and teachers but one thing i doesn't like is the water dispenser. There is hot and cold water and isaiah manage to press it as is quite low .. I find it rather dangerous as kids might just press the hot water without knowing and got themselves hurt.
Lesson starts at 3.30pm and this week is Chinese lesson. There is motor skills games, memory games, learning words, writing numbers, imagination games ..
Well there is alot alot including flashcards and the teacher really make use of the full 1 hour and keep the children attention there. Amazingly my active darling is able to sit down for an hour without much moving except from the chair to my lap and to the chair. Mostly he won't sit down for more than 5 mins expect the high chair ..
That day they learn 1-20, "what time is it?" in chinese and chinese wording "shu gou & wan gou" and lastly writing number 6!
Well i find it rather difficult for isaiah but i love the class is because teachers don't give pressure and is must to know how to do all those stuff .. Isaiah enjoyed the games totally ..
After he went back home he knows how to say the number 6 in chinese and shu gou. He just love saying shu gou and will use his finger to write out the stoke character of it.
after lesson the teacher explain how the class works and how it benefits the child and i decided to sign up another term for him until dec ..
Head to bugis to have dinner and hubby came to fetch us .. Drop my mom at orchard so is easier to take a bus home there and we went back to office. After dropping the workers we head to Taka baby fair. Bro and SIL happened to be there too and they wish to get some stuff thought she is only 13 weeks but the next bb fair will be in march and she should deliver by then.
They got a nice Maclaren techno XT XLG. Nice colour and i love maclaren .. and it should go wrong choosing that brand .. if i were to have a second bb i will buy the same stroller IF i'm driving. haha! They bought some essential stuff too .. As for me, i manage to get 2 bed rails at $49.90 and a straw cup ..
By the time we finish shopping is already 10.30pm! Once we are on the car isaiah fell asleep. he was really tired and continue his sleep till the next morning! the past few weeks he is sleeping like 12am! sometimes as late as us.
Sat we stayed at home and mom came over .. Finish off isaiah "homework" for LNT! haha .. read some books with him before head to tiong bahru plaza in the evening .. Walked for awhile before going back home .. Reached home rather early yesterday and i quickly finish my chores so today i can enjoy my whole day out! Hubby and Isaiah played the whole evening. After my chores we sit down and read books again! Isaiah is learning to talk really fast. He manage to say 1-4 in chinese and when he saw ice cream in the book he shouted "ICE CREAM" hubby and me was shocked! We realised that he actually know quite abit of stuff and will just say it out when he saw it .. Now isaiah no longer say mum mum when he wants to eat. He is saying "eat" now .. Whenever we walked past any food court etc he will say EAT! He learn that when i always asked him "what you want to eat?"
I find that isaiah don't really understand chinese during the lesson so we are going to speak more chinese to him as i think chinese is more important then english in the future. he is able to pick up english very easily next time but for chinese it all depends on the foundation since young .. and i find it very hard to improve when he grows up .. that's happen to me!
One very funny word isaiah said yesterday "PU DOU" that is grape in hokkien! haha .. i was telling him pu tao and he said pu dou .. i don't know where he learn that from!
Okay, got to go and hubby is coming back soon with Mac breakfast..
